The Inc. 500 and Social Media
I'm excited to announce the results of my second research project with Nora Barnes of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's Center for Marketing Research. The project is a detailed study of the adoption and usage of social media by the Inc. 500, an elite group of fast-growing private companies. Our research revealed that social media adoption among the companies is much higher than many predicted and certainly much higher than the Fortune 500.
An executive summary of the research is available in PDF and MSWord. The full results will be published in several academic journals throughout 2007.
