Last week, Professor Barnes and I released the initial results of our research into social media use among the Inc. 500. Since then, the blogosphere has been buzzing about it. At our last count, 25+ bloggers have written about it, some of them several times.

I've been asked about the definition of Web 2.0 several times recently. Thus, I've become hypersensitive to how other people are viewing it.

Today, I ran across a rather eloquent definition at Axel Schultze's blog for his new company, Xeequa.

"Web 2.0 is not a new release of the Internet - Web 2.0 is the culture shift from view to act, from find to share, from passive to collaborate."

Thanks Axel.

Both Joseph Carrabis and Howard Scott decided it would be fun to tag me with current blog meme of listing 5 things about yourself (that most people don't know) and then "tagging" other bloggers to do the same.

Since I respect these guys, I'll list the 5 things but then I'm going to stop the madness. :-)

1. My last name (it's Finnish) would be traditionally spelled Mattsson.
