Teaching The Long Tail

Yesterday, I returned to my old stomping grounds near the University of Washington to have coffee with Kathy Gill, a senior lecturer in the UW's School of Communications. Kathy is developing a seminar course around The Long Tail for the school's Master of Communication In Digital Media program.
Kathy and I had a great discussion about the relevant reading material and the best corresponding guest speakers. At the end, we were leaning towards the following 5 books/subjects:
- The Long Tail
- The Tipping Point
- Naked Conversations
- The Wisdom of Crowds
- Economics of Attention (or, maybe, of Abundance)
What would you pick?

Howdy, I think you've got it
Howdy,
I think you've got it pretty well covered, although I'm curious to know how much other material the students will be required to contribute/deliver during the course. Is there a syllabus handy or in preparation? I'd love to see it. - Joseph
